The Society usually meets once a month at their clubhouse situated behind the Natal Carbineers Drill hall, entrance from Geere street. Currently meetings are held at 5.30pm on the third Wednesday of the month. Visitors are always most welcome.

If you are a newcomer to family research our experienced members will be able to assist and point you in the right direction.

 The Cluhouse houses the NIFHS library where there is a wealth of material to assist genealogical researchers.

 The Natal Inland Family History Society is also curator of the Natal Midlands branch of the Genealogical Society of South Africa.

The Natal Midlands Branch of the Genealogical Society of South Africa is located in Pietermaritzburg but serves anyone with an interest in genealogy and family history in the whole of the inland region of KwaZulu-Natal. The branch is currently under the curatorship of the NIFHS.
